4. Description Abstract This research is about the profitability of conventional commercial bank companies. Profitability can measure the company's ability to generate profits from the assets used. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of CAR, BOPO, LDR, and NPL on profitability in conventional commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Based on purposive sampling technique, 22 companies were selected as samples. Data analysis used multiple linear regression techniques with the SPSS-19 program. The results showed that CAR, LDR, and NPL had no effect on ROA. BOPO has a negative effect on ROA
